Netis AD1102 Driver – Netis AD1102 driver is a software component that allows the operating system to communicate with Netis AD1102 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Adapter. The application calls a function implemented by the operating system and the operating system calls a function implemented by the controller.

The Netis AD1102 Gigabit Ethernet netis card is a Gigabit card with a 32-bit PCIV2.2 interface at 10/100 / 1000Mbps that reduces processor load using the master bus architecture. It also provides WOL and Boot-ROM. With a single UTP / STP protocol and automatic negotiation support (Nway), the adapter can automatically negotiate a speed of 10, 10 or 100 Mbps and a half-duplex mode or a duplex mode with its link partner (a hub, for example ). It can also be widely used in most modern operating systems.
I have been using a D-Link DCM-202 router since 2008. But I had problems after Charter started using DOCSIS 3.0. I did not want to spend $$$ on a good router and I do not use wireless technology. But I have a Dell Optiplex 760 (service number HQS3JG1) under Vista (ick). His future as such was therefore limited. He decided to install pfSense on it and turn it into a router. (Too much for the material I know) It connected the Gigabit Ethernet port on the motherboard to the SURFBoard SB6121 cable modem provided by Charter because it has a Gigabit port. One of my Realtek RTL8139C PCI cards installed for the pfSense LAN connection worked correctly. As all my computers have Gigabit ports, I finally decided to update the entire Gigabit LAN. Installed on this Netis map after some research, pfSense would support it, and the price was right. Stop pfSense. Pull the PCI card and install the Netis card in the PCIe x1 slot of the Optiplex. Developed pfSense and warnings, the port of the motherboard has been assigned to WAN (as before) and Netis to LAN. pfSense reports that the WAN and LAN interfaces are 1000baseT <full duplex> pfSense works correctly

In most cases, the Windows drivers found here are “self-extracting” (.exe) files. Click on the desired file. When prompted, set the destination on your desk. Create a new folder and move the file to it. Click on the file to automatically extract the software and the associated files in your new folder. You can also extract or move these files to a floppy disk. Note that these files will only be self-extracting if they are run from Windows. After extracting the files to a disk or special directory, locate the installer, usually called “setup.exe” or “install.exe”, and then click on it to start the installation.
Sometimes, there is no installer because you have to install your driver through the Windows “Add a device” function. You can find instructions for installing drivers in the Windows Help file. Our Mac OSX files are also self-extracting. These files must be downloaded and executed in the same way. The installer will be present on the desktop once completed: click on it and follow the instructions to install it.
