My computer is on the opposite side of the house, on a different floor of the router, and sometimes it can cause problems when transmitting live sports or downloading due to low speeds and low amount of signals. I tried using the Wi-Fi dongle Boluomi in the USB 3.0 port of my computer and I kept getting the same speed as before (it is strange to think that the dongle is USB 3.0 … was about to start cursing for not having worked), then I tried it on one of the USB 2.0 ports and, suddenly, my wireless Internet speed was literally TRIP! I received about 30 Mbps on the standard wi-fi computer, using this product, my speed test is now 100 Mbps! (The ping and download speed is still the same as before).

This product slightly exceeds the computer (a few centimeters), but it is a small price to pay to significantly improve the speed and coverage of your Internet connection. The signal has improved and the loss of Wi-Fi connectivity has been reduced to zero. Ultra-fast: Wi-Fi speeds of 1200 Mbps up to 5 GHz (867 Mbps) or 2.4 GHz (300 Mbps). AC1200 high-speed wireless adapter with 802.11ac, compatible with Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8/7 / XP / Vista / 64-bit) and Mac OS 10.4-10.12, a laptop or Mac to work. The only drawback was the long antenna that was still bothering. The solution was to use a long USB adapter, not ideal.

In most cases, the Windows drivers found here are “self-extracting” (.exe) files. Click on the desired file. When prompted, set the destination on your desk. Create a new folder and move the file to it. Click on the file to automatically extract the software and the associated files in your new folder. You can also extract or move these files to a floppy disk. Note that these files will only be self-extracting if they are run from Windows. After extracting the files to a disk or special directory, locate the installer, usually called “setup.exe” or “install.exe”, and then click on it to start the installation.
Sometimes, there is no installer because you have to install your driver through the Windows “Add a device” function. You can find instructions for installing drivers in the Windows Help file. Our Mac OSX files are also self-extracting. These files must be downloaded and executed in the same way. The installer will be present on the desktop once completed: click on it and follow the instructions to install it.
