The 1080p panel is currently the only option available in the G752VT. G-Sync is standard and a quick search of the panel name LP173WF-SPF3 shows that it does not appear in any other notebook in our database. Subjectively, we can not observe any screen or grain effect in the images. Near the lower right corner you can see a minor backlight bleeding, which is only visible with strong light and in very dark environments. The brightness and contrast are almost identical to those of its predecessor. Asus, therefore, has not made major improvements to its screen. However, colors and gray scales are a bit more precise before attempting calibration.

Its contrast of G752VT almost 1000: 1 is approximately twice the Gigabyte P37X. Reading images and videos is fantastic in Asus’s notebook. The coverage of the color space is almost identical to that of most other gaming laptops: approximately 55% and 84%, respectively, of the AdobeRGB and sRGB standards. This is much higher than cheaper TN displays, where 60% of the sRGB coverage is more common, but not as deep as some Clevo or MSI PX60 configurations where manufacturers seek 100% sRGB coverage. For games, the range is sufficient. In-depth color analysis with an X-Rite spectrophotometer reveals gray-scale colors and ready-to-use. A quick calibration further improves gray levels. Colors become less accurate at higher saturation levels, confirming less than perfect sRGB coverage. Like the G751, the colors orange and yellow seem to be less represented than others. The photosensor sensor measurements reveal no use of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), even at the lowest brightness setting. The black and white response time is measured between 4 and 5 ms, while the gray-gray response time is between 12 and 13 ms. Fall times from white to black and from darker gray to lighter gray are longer than expected. The external visibility is good due to the high maximum brightness and the matte panel to reduce the brightness. The backlight is not powerful enough to withstand direct sunlight. It is better to work in the shade. The underlying IPS panel provides excellent viewing angles. Colors and contrast do not degrade significantly if we look at extreme angles. Relative brightness decreases slightly if the screen is too far from the center.
